I had never even heard of a chimichanga until I watched Deadpool. The merc with a mouth is known for more than swearing, he’s also known for his obsession with this thing called a chimichanga, and I had to figure out what it was all about.
So what exactly is a chimichanga? Well the Wiki description reads:
A chimichanga is a deep-fried burrito that is common in Tex-Mex and other Southwestern U.S. cuisine.

When I heard the deep fry part I knew I had to invite my nemesis Trevor over. He’s partly deep fried, and all cheese so I knew he would be interested.
The first thing we need are ingredients, and luckily they are pretty standard. Here they are:
500g beef mince
1 Onion
150g mushrooms
Half-tin of tomatoes
Fresh coriander
Sour cream
Chilies (and chili sauce of your choosing)
6 Tortillas (a word Nick is unable to pronounce properly)
Mozzarella Cheddar
Basil (a pinch)
1 (ONE) teaspoon garlic
Saudi’s 2017 oil output (500ml sunflower oil)
And then you need to press play on Youtube and watch these masters of cooking destroy any semblance of class and finesse!
